Product Condition Reports

We will provide a product condition report for all Factory 2nd and Factory Refurbished appliance orders (Fridges, Washers, Dishwashers, Ovens, Cooktops, Dryers etc) before delivery.
You will then be given the option to go ahead or cancel your order for a full refund if the condition does not meet your expectations. It is difficult to provide this report without an order as we may have multiple items of the same product which may all vary in their condition. 
We do not provide this report for small items (Hair Dryers, Irons, Cameras) as they often come packaged and are more difficult to inspect.

Delivery Options

A delivery cost estimate is provided on every product page. We have estimated your delivery area however you may need to adjust your post code on the product page for accurate delivery costs.

You will see one or many of the below options:

Melbourne Deliveries:

  • Free local pickup: you can select to pick up from our Mentone stores in the checkout and we will transfer all your items to the store free of charge. You will be notified as soon as your order is ready for collection.
  • Australia Post: for most small items, shipped via Australia Post who will attempt to deliver the item during business hours (Mon-Fri). You will have to collect your item from the post office should you miss the delivery
  • 2nds World Courier: Melbourne Metro area only. You will be able to choose a delivery date and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery
  • Geelong Courier: Wednesday and Sunday delivery only. You will be able to choose a delivery date (must be a Wednesday or Sunday) and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery.
  • Mornington Peninsula CourierTuessday and Saturday delivery only. You will be able to choose a delivery date (must be a Tuesday or Saturday) and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery.
  • Same Day Courier: available for most in stock items, Melbourne metro only. Place your order before 2pm and it will be delivered on the same day (Mon - Fri only). Any orders placed after 2pm will be delivered the next business day (Mon - Fri). Please note that your delivery time can be anywhere between 12pm and 8pm depending on courier avalability, items ordered and your location. We will call you to confirm the exact delivery time and will work with you should there be any problems regarding the given timeslot. More Details on Same Day Deliveries

  • Outer Sydney DeliveryTuesday or Saturday delivery only. You will be able to choose a delivery date (must be a Tuesday or Saturday) and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery.
  • Wollongong CourierWednesday or Saturday delivery only. You will be able to choose a delivery date (must be a Wednesday or Saturday) and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery.
  • Central Coast Courier (Gosford to Newcastle): Wednesday or Saturday delivery only. You will be able to choose a delivery date (must be a Wednesday or Sunday) and will be given a two hour timeframe during which the delivery will occor. A phone call will be made 30 minutes prior delivery.

 Interstate & Regional NSW Deliveries:

  • Door to Door Courier: Shipped via Allied or Toll. The courier company will call or sms you 1 day prior delivery (but often don't provide a timeframe). Please coordinate directly with the courier company should the allocated delivery date not be suitable. Re-delivery charges will apply should you miss your delivery
  • Australia Post: for most small items, shipped via Australia Post who will attempt to deliver the item during business hours (Mon-Fri). You will have to collect your item from the post office should you miss the delivery

All delivery costs are finalised within the checkout process, below prices are a guide only.
Multiple items in the same transaction attract shipping discounts.

SYDNEY & MELBOURNE METRO

  • Small Items (EG: MP3 Players, DVD Players): $9
  • Large Items (EG: ovens, washers, fridges): $49
  • Oversized Items (EG: Side by Side Fridges): $69
  • Removal of old items - (EG: per item): $11 per item

SHIPPING DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS

Delivery discounts for multiple items may apply. Please add all your items to your shopping cart and check the cart page for the final delivery fee.

DAMAGED DELIVERIES

2nds World inspects all goods before they leave our warehouse. If you receive goods that are damaged or the security tape has been broken immediately inform the delivery driver and write it on their delivery sheet (do NOT tick or sign ‘Goods Received in Good Condition’). Please then contact our Customer Service Team

RETURNS & CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your order for a full refund anytime prior to delivery/pickup. Once delivered, only unopened & unused items can be returned for a full refund within 14 days.

Returns of used items will be assesed on a case by case basis. Used products need to go back to the supplier's factory for cleaning and testing and therefor will attract a restocking fee of at least 20%, please contact us for a more detailed assessment should you have changed your mind and already used your product.

Please keep in mind that you will have to cover the return delivery or return the product yourself should you change your mind.

If you receive an item that fails within the first 14 days, we will swap it free of charge and pickup any delivery charges incurred. If your product is faulty please contact our Customer Service Team to be issued with a Return Authorisation & details on where to send your item.

All products purchased at 2nds World Online come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Your 2nds World Online Tax Invoice will serve as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. Warranty claims should be taken up directly with the manufacturer.

All our deliveries are inspected prior to shipping to ensure there is no damage to the product. The package is then security sealed, logged, & bar-coded for GPS tracking. All our deliveries are also fully insured against any damage. If your delivery arrives with any damage, please have the courier immediately note it on their paper work & call our Customer Service Team to arrange a replacement.

Due to the nature of Factory 2nds & Factory Refurbished products, some items may have slight marks or imperfections. It is a condition of sale that the buyer must be aware that from time to time these may exist. Returns based on marks/scratches/dents or imperfections of Factory 2nd or Factory Refurbished products will not be accepted unless the actual item conditions does not the condition report provided by us.
