Returns policy
At 2nds World we want to ensure that your online shopping experience is quick & easy.
If you receive an item that fails within the first 14 days, we will swap it free of charge and pickup any delivery charges incurred. If your product is faulty please contact our Customer Service Team to be issued with a Return Authorisation & details on where to send your item.
All products purchased at 2nds World Online come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Your 2nds World Online Tax Invoice will serve as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. Warranty claims should be taken up directly with the manufacturer, for a list of manufacturer contact details click here.
All our deliveries are inspected prior to shipping to ensure there is no damage to the product. The package is then security sealed, logged, & bar-coded for GPS tracking. All our deliveries are also fully insured against any damage. If your delivery arrives with any damage, please have the courier immediately note it on their paper work & call our Customer Service Team to arrange a replacement.
*Due to the nature of Factory 2nds & Factory Refurbished products, some items may have slight marks or imperfections. It is a condition of sale that the buyer must be aware that from time to time these may exist. Returns based on marks/scratches/dents or imperfections of Factory 2nd or Factory Refurbished products will not be accepted.

We deliver all items listed on our website Australia wide. All deliveries are fully ensured and GPS tracked.
confirming your identity
All deliveries need to be signed for and photo ID produced to prove your identity. If you will not be home for your scheduled delivery please ring our Customer Service Team .
Please note that you may also be called by our Customer Service Team to confirm your online identity. This is a very simple and quick process that is undertaken in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Can I buy online and pickup at my local store?
YES - why not bring your mates ute down to your local store to save a few extra dollars!
1) Simply purchase as normal through the website.
2) In the Delivery Options you can select the store you would like to pick your goods up from (free of charge).
3) Your order will be processed (during business hours), & you will receive a call from our Online Team to confirm your order details. *Please note, you may also be asked a few quick questions, or be sent an email to confirm your online identity.
4) You will be emailed a Sales Order, which will need to be printed out & presented at the store when you pick your goods up.
5) You will need to show Photo ID & also the Credit Card used in the transaction when picking up your goods. *If you will not be the person picking up the goods please inform our Customer Service Team when they call you.
6) Your Tax Invoice will be issued by the store once you pick up the goods.
*We do our absolute best to ensure stock is always available in all stores, however due to circumstances beyond our control we may need to order stock in. All sales are subject to stock availability, & you will be advised immediately by our Online Customer Care Team if there are any stock delays affecting your selection.
Sydney Metro Deliveries
1) Large items - Deliveries will be made between Monday to Saturday during business hours (9am to 5pm) excluding Public Holidays. You will be contacted the evening before and given an approximate 2 hour delivery window. You can also request a courtesy call when the driver is close to your address.
Not at home? - You will find a “Sorry we missed you” card with a contact number to call and organise another delivery time. Subsequent delivery attempts will attract another delivery charge.
2) Small items - products such as MP3 Players, Digital Cameras, and GPS units will be delivered using Australia Post mail delivery network. These Registered Post deliveries will need to be signed for, & may require ID to be presented. Australia Post delivery Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
Not at home? – your item will be re-directed to the nearest Australia Post Office. A collection notice will be left in your letterbox or under your front door.
Outside Sydney Metro
1) Large items - Deliveries will be made between Monday to Friday during business hours (9am to 5pm) excluding Public Holidays. Our Customer Service Team will call you to advise an approximate delivery date, you will then receive a courtesy phone call from your local delivery agent closer prior to the delivery to arrange a convenient date & time.
Please note that for deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area our couriers do not offer installation or 'take way old' services. In addition due to recent Insurance and OH&S requirements they will deliver items to your front doorstep only, and are not permitted enter a customers house.
Not at home? - You will find a “Sorry we missed you” card with a contact number to call and organise another delivery time. Subsequent delivery attempts will attract another delivery charge.

How long will it take for my product to be delivered?
Our delivery times are between 2-10 business days. Please use the order tracker to check the delivery date.
How can I track my order?
You can track your order by creating a personal account via the My Account section of our website. You will be able to login and check your order status as often as you like.
What if my package has not arrived?
If you have not received your product after 14 days from the date of your order, please contact our Customer Service Team.
Do you connect white goods?
Yes –if you are in the Sydney Metro area. There is a charge applicable and this is determined during the checkout process. Connection will be carried out using existing electricity, gas and/or water fittings only.
In addition the area must have free and open access (unfortunately our technicians can not connect items in enclosed areas like cupboards. They are also unable to wall mount any units).
The price charged by 2ndsWorld.com.au does not include any modifications or additional carpentry. These are additional charges and will be be quoted by the installer.
*Ice and Water Side-by-Side Fridges, Dishwashers are required to be connected to a water supply. We recommend you use a licensed plumber.
*Upright Gas or Electric stoves, Ovens, Cooktops and Rangehoods require professional connection. We recommend you use a licensed electrician.
*Air Conditioners will be delivered but not unpacked. The installer requires these units to remain boxed until installation.
Do you take away my old white goods?
Yes –if you are ordering a large item (fridge/washer etc), & are located in the Sydney Metro. There is a small charge applicable (approx $11) and this is determined during the checkout process .
In order for a white good to be collected it must be emptied, disconnected and pulled away from the wall / from beneath the cupboard.
Some old appliances have been in place for many years and may be difficult to remove. If this is the case we will need you written permission. All care is taken, but no responsibility is accepted for any damage incurred.
We reserve the right to refuse the removal of unsafe or unhygienic appliances.
damaged deliveries
2nds World inspects all goods before they leave our warehouse. If you receive goods that are damaged or the security tape has been broken immediately inform the delivery driver and write it on their delivery sheet (do NOT tick or sign ‘Goods Received in Good Condition’). Please then contact our Customer Service Team
tracking your delivery
Deliveries outside of the Sydney Metro area are tracked using the latest GPS technology. You will be emailed a tracking number and log-on instructions. We strongly suggest you monitor the progress of your delivery as re-delivery attempts will attract an additional charge.
Getting your product installed
2nds World has a network of licensed installers in Sydney Metro area for all products. We are continually adding to our network outside of this area. Many of our installers are also trained to carry out cabinetry work, plumbing, gas fitting etc if required. This services are at additional cost & can be quoted prior to commencement of the job. Feel free to call us if you require installation for any product & we can answer all your questions.
